Candyfloss machine, comprises an electric motor with an upright shaft mounting a rotor with an internal sugar chamber having guides for molten sugar from the chamber to the rotor rim. Between the rotor and a fan on the shaft is a heater for the rotor, and between fan and heater is a deflector which directs upwardly air flow from the fan towards the rotor rim. Pref. the deflector has the shape of inverted frusto-conical.
