The invention concerns equipment for feeding pulverised lime by means of gas flow to the combustion chamber 1 of a boiler. For feeding the lime at a temperature which promotes desulphurisation, e.g. when the boiler power increases, the nozzle 6 provided for feeding and spreading the lime has been mounted on the end of a tubular arm 5 to which have been connected devices for moving the nozzle 6 to a position in the combustion chamber 1 within the flue-gas flow which suits the prevailing temperature. In the simplest embodiment of the invention, the tubular arm 5 has been mounted telescopically to move longitudinally relative to another, stationary tube, whereby the tubular arm 5 and the moving devices are mounted so that the longitudinal direction of the arm 5 over at least part of its length is parallel to the flue-gas flow. <IMAGE>
