This method for producing a ceramic sintered body is provided with: a step for preparing a columnar ceramic green body having a seating and a plurality of flow channels extending in the axial direction; a step for coating an inorganic-powder-containing slurry on one end surface of the seating and/or one end surface of the ceramic green body in the axial direction; a step for mounting the ceramic green body on the seating so that one end surface of the seating and the one end surface of the ceramic green body face one another after the slurry-coating step; and a step for sintering the ceramic green body mounted on the seating.
