Provided is a pants-type absorbent article for which damage during wearing motions can be suppressed. This pants-type absorbent article (1) includes: a front waist region (S1); a back waist region (S2); a crotch region (S3); a waist opening (8) which is defined by the front waist region and the back waist region and which is disposed so as to surround the waist of the wearer; external top sheets (70F, 70R) provided on either the front waist region or the back waist region; and external back sheets (80F, 80R) adhered to the external top sheets. The external back sheets have rolled over portions which extend more toward the waist opening (8) compared to the external top sheets and which are rolled over at the waist opening. The pants-type absorbent article (1) is provided with reinforcing sheets (200A, 200B) which extend along a transverse direction W that intersects with a front to back direction L and which overlap at least a part of the rolled over portions, the length of the reinforcing sheets in the front to back direction (L) being longer than the length of the rolled over portions in the front to back direction (L). |
