Pressure pick-up for detecting an air-conditioning flow including a ventilating conduit and a measuring method

The invention relates to a pressure pick-up for detecting an air-conditioning flow in or at the end of a ventilating conduit. The pressure pick-up is designed in a rod shape and measures the pressure difference between the air-conditioning flow flowing in and that flowing out and, from this difference measurement, the volume flow or the exhaust quantity is determined with the aid of preferably stored calibration curves. The ventilating conduit to be surveyed is preferably provided with pairs of holes at regular spacings, which are closed with the aid of stoppers when not used. The special feature of the method likewise covered by this invention is the detection of almost the complete cross-section of the ventilating conduit with the aid of a pressure mean value which enables measured values with an accuracy not previously possible to be expected.
