Compsn. for battery electrolyte comprises (i) distd. water 30-50 wt.%, (ii) gp. V oxy acids 0.01-0.50 wt.% i.e. arsenous, nitric and phosphoric acid, (iii) gp. (III) or (IIIA) acid salt 0.005-1.00 wt.% i.e. borax, alumina or potassium dichromate, ammonium paramolybdate, potassium metatungstate, (iv) salts of strong acid or base 1-10 wt.% i.e. NaCl, KCl, NaCN, KCN and (v) starch 45-65 wt.% i.e. potato starch, PVA, polyacrylamide. |
