The keyphone comprising a line trunk circuit (10), including exchanging lines between the local and station lines, a relay (20) controlling the line connection with a switching signal, a CPU (30) processing the function, a memory (40) storing the program and data, and subset (50) like a hand receiver, includes a checking program composed of steps; (a) checking the mode input; (b) checking the corresponding subscriber's subset key; (c) comparing the input key of (a) with that of (b); (d) allocating the subset key to the long- distance enable key; and (e) switching the key to the local line and initializing the password.
