Mounting for the accessory carrier of an objective (lens)

The mounting for an accessory carrier of an objective permits the linear movement of said objective when rotating the focusing ring for setting the distance. For this purpose, the accessory carrier is connected to an intermediate tube which can be displaced in a linear guide, mounted on a stationary worm, in the direction of the optical axis of the objective and is secured against rotation. The linear guide reaches through a cutout in a stop cylinder which is connected with its end to the focusing ring and with its front to a front lens mount which is in threaded engagement with the worm. The front sections of intermediate tube and stop cylinder form a fitting cylinder in which a pivot bearing is arranged. This pivot bearing secures the front lens mount and the intermediate tube against displacement in the axial direction. The pivot bearing consists of radial perforations in the intermediate tube, of segments insertable therein, as well as of an annular groove in the stop cylinder and is held by the accessory carrier.
