The invention relates to a loading device for the carriage of an inclined hoist by means of a brick barrow which can be tilted up onto the carriage of the inclined hoist in the floor region. The essence of the invention resides in the fact that, for the purpose of facilitating the tilting-up movement, the carriage has an upper frame which is longitudinally displaceable with respect to the base frame.
