The dot interpolation system is useful for enlarging a font for a wordprocessor maintaining high quality. The system comprises a dot pattern memory (33) storing the character pattern data, an interpolation means (40) obtaining the interpolation dot data from the dot pattern memory, and memories (42A,42B) storing the data being compared by interpolation comparators (41A,41B).
