PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugate capable of improving bond strength by removing heat stress generated in a cooling step after bonding, without a risk of embrittlement of a base metal; and to provide a structure.SOLUTION: A conjugate 10 includes a brittle material layer 20 having a small thermal expansion coefficient and a steel-based material layer 30 having a large thermal expansion coefficient, and both layers are diffused and bonded to form the conjugate.
