PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deposit improvement method and a deposit improvement device which can improve deposit stably and effectively at an original position where environmental changes arise greatly, is simple and can reduce costs.SOLUTION: In a deposit improvement method, a first electrode placed in deposit receives an electron among electrons and hydrogen ions produced in organic resolution by anaerobic microorganisms. Second electrodes connected to the first electrode in an external circuit electrically and placed severally at positions of different water depth, or lengthwise second electrodes conduct reaction of the hydrogen ion having traveled in water at positions of different water depth above the first electrode, the electron having traveled in the external circuit and oxygen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
