It is desirable that a nuclear magnetic resonance image be obtained in such a maner that a portion of the image in which the user is interested in is displayed in a greater scale. To this end, nuclear magnetic resonance signals from a specific region of the image are picke-up by an aliasing phenomenon, into a predetermined signal band which is different from the signal band of the above-mentioned specific region.
