<p>The profiled gutter section of metal plate is for use between the roof portions of a greenhouse. In cross-section, it has a bottom portion converging towards the middle and joining onto sides sloping steeply upwards, while the ends of the glass panes fit under its upwards-sloping flanges. The steep sides (2) extend for more than half the height of the section, where they join onto edges (3) sloping upwards less steeply and which are roughly parallel to the flanges (5), to which they are joined by an intermediate section (4). Thus the flange, edge, and intermediate section together form a right-angled Z, the intermediate section sloping inwards and upwards at between 19 deg. and 29 deg. to the vertical.</p> |
