The invention relates to an arrangement 4 for fastening one end of a tape measure 1 in an elongate measurement object, in particular an arrangement for a tape measure for laying a felled tree off into log lengths. The arrangement comprises a body 6 with a spike 19 which can be rotated about an articulation 16 in the body, between a first position, in which the spike is directed essentially at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the extended tape measure 1 and at the same time essentially at right angles to a long side of the measurement object 2 in order in this position to be capable of being pressed into the long side of the measurement object so as thus to anchor the tape measure in the measurement object, and a second position, in which the spike extends essentially parallel to the tape measure and the measurement object in the direction away from the tape measure. <IMAGE> |
