An automatic sales dispenser, i.e. automat, used for delivery of selected items of foodstuffs, has a boxed shaped housing in which a vertical shaft supports a number of circular trays divided into compartments that are accessed in a radial direction. Access to the products (12) is provided by a handling system moved vertically on guide bars (21). The products are held in trays (12) movable horizontally in a radial direction. The handling unit has a lever (27) with a hook at the end that locates around a pin (17). The lever is coupled to a crank with a motor actuator (25).
