The method for preparing new derivatives of benzofuran (I) (R=C1-C6 alkyl radical) comprises: (a) mixing 20.4g of metallic monoether and 11.5mg of stearic acid titanium with 100ml of decalin and putting the mixture into flask with cooling apparatus; (b) heating the mixture at 140≦̸C for 3.5hr; (c) analyzing organic phase by gas chromatogiaphy to obtain 85%-73% yield.
