METHOD FINDING OUT CARDS AND PORTS OF EXCHANGER

The method for identifying the inserted cards like an analog line subscriber card, trunk card and tie card regularly during the system operation as well as the system initialisation comprises: a first step for checking the text period; a second step for checking the card existance and reading the its class; a third step for storing the data of the corresponding service port and the class into a memory (20); a fourth step for checking the port whether it is the last one to be checked in the corresponding card or not; a fifth step for preparing the address of the next card if the former one is the adress of the next card if the former one is the last port in the card; and the sixth step for ending the process if the address of the next one is bigger than that of the last card.
