<p>The present invention relates to a handling cart and the method of guiding such a cart. The wire-guided handling cart (1), consisting of a chassis (1) propelled by two drive wheels (11, 12), placed at the rear of the chassis, driven by electric motors (110, 120), and a front wheel (10) mounted on the axis of symmetry of the cart (1) and pivoting freely relative to the chassis, two guide reels (13, 14) disposed symmetrically relative to a guide track, is characterised in that the guide track of given width is supplied electrically in order to produce a uniform magnetic field over the width of the track and means for independently supplying each motor with a signal producing a speed of rotation depending on the difference in the fields received by one reel relative to the other when the front of the cart is off centre on the track. <IMAGE></p> |
