摘要 By directly structuring circuit carriers, e.g. printed circuit boards, by means of laser light, the photomasks which are conventionally used for producing printed circuit boards, become redundant. In known devices for directly structuring, mechanically displaceable mirrors are used for deflecting the light beam for picture element scanning, which mirrors are difficult to produce and which are complex to drive. The technical problem to be solved consists in avoiding mechanically moved parts when directly structuring circuit carriers. The solution consists in arranging in the beam path between the light source 2 and the light-sensitive layer 20 a row 17 of light gates, whose light transmission is controlled by the control device 3. It is advantageous for the row 17 of light gates to be produced from a PLZT-ceramic material and to construct the control device 3 as CAD system. This results in a good flexibility and short turnaround times during the production of printed circuit boards. <IMAGE>
