(a) cultivation of mouse brain-cell acclimated virus of HFRS in mouse brain; (b) obtg. the mouse brain; (c) addn. of a soln. of virus-stabilisation to the mouse brain; (d) prepn. of a brain-homogenised emulsion (5-30 W/W%); (e) centrifugation of the emulsion for formation of a supernatant; (f) addn. of a soln. for inactivation of the virus; and (g) purificn. of virus antigen. The mouse brain cell acclimated virus is that acclimated to mouse-brain cell with subcultivation of HRFS virus (10 generation or more) in mouse brain.
