<p>A system supplies hot water by using an electrical current (30, 38) or energy source. Temperature control is accomplished utilizing a digital processor (36). Energy is transferred to the water (32) in accordance with time-amplitude modulated cycles which permits the desired energy to be transferred with maximum power determined by an electric utility. This permits flexible control of peak utility loads related to such systems.</p> |
