Use of a compound of the formula (I) <CHEM> wherein R<1> is hydrogen, halo, C1-C5 alkoxy or C2-C6 dialkyl amino; R<2> is hydrogen, halo or C1-C5 alkoxy; R<3> is hydrogen, hydroxy, -O-(CH2)n-COOH or -O-CO-(CH2)l-COOH, wherein n is an integer of 1-5, and l is an integer of 1-3; R<4> is <CHEM> wherein R<5> and R<6> are each independently hydrogen or C1-C8 alkyl, and A is C3-C5 alkylene or C3-C5 alkylene substituted with carboxy; and m is an integer of 0-5, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, for the preparation of a pharmaceutical formulation useful as a serotonin antagonist.
