The invention relates to the field of applying a film coating to a product. A method for applying a film coating to a complex surface includes a preparation stage, a material cutting stage, and an installation stage, which involves securing a cut-out piece from one side, leaving the opposite edge free, separating a substrate from the free edge until reaching the middle of the component, cutting off the substrate, lowering the film onto the component, securing the film at a certain distance from the cut-off line, smoothing with a squeegee - paying special attention to angles and folds - and heating and stretching the film to remove any creases and wrinkles. The technical result consists in improving the contact between a film and a surface to be coated. |
