<p>A data management system comprising a data file (13) and a history management file (14) for retrieving data in the data file (13). The data file (13) has a file name (131) consisting of a data hierarchy of a data base having a tree structure and of a version number of the data file (13) of the same classification items as those of the data hierarchy. The history management file (14) has a file name (141) consisting of a data hierarchy of a data base having a tree structure and of a version number of the history management file (14) of the same classification items as those of the data hierarchy, and has index codes (142) consisting of retrieval keys of the data file of the same classification items and of the version number of the data file (13). Therefore, the present system can delete and update fictitiously and makes it easy to manage the data on a direct read after write type device by an existing operating system.</p> |
