A drawing apparatus comprises a drawing board (1) with means enabling it to be mounted on the steering wheel of a vehicle at a selected angle of inclination. The drawing board (1) may be mounted on a tilt coupling device (5) which is mounted in turn on a mounting member (7) attachable to the steering wheel. Rotation of an operating shaft (51) turns two wedge-shaped cam members (28, 29) relative to each other to change the angle of inclination of the drawing board (1) to the mounting member (7).
