A fixed coil with constant magnets as poles and polar shoe with tilted sides, for tachogenerators with invariable air gap. In order to reduce the value of the voltage ripple, the pole shoes have their inside surfaces shaped as rounded parallelograms and the sides are tilted with one winding pitch as against the generatrix, along the stator core.
