This system for the wet treatment of fabrics by the length and continuously takes place in a tank through which the fabric runs under tension in a treatment bath in a direction opposite to that of the bath which is moved by forced circulation. The fabric passes between pairs of pressure rollers which express the liquid, with the subsequent absorption of further liquid, and against vibrating rollers which rotate in a direction contrary to the movement of the fabric, and other stretching rollers. The said pressure rollers are located in parallel lines separated by partitions which open alternately at one end. The tank may contain heating elements and various tanks may be associated forming a treatment sequence. This system offers lower costs, a better washing effect, less water consumption per kilogram of fabric treated and requires less space than other systems. <IMAGE>
