In the present invention, an animal emotion estimation device is provided with: a sound collector comprising an elastic member having a recess, a sound-collecting microphone provided to a bottom of the recess, and a shock-absorbing material covering the entirety of the elastic member and the sound-collecting microphone; a harness for the sound collector to be worn on an animal; a converter for filtering, and converting to a heartbeat signal, sound that has been collected via the sound collector; an estimation unit for estimating the emotion of an animal on the basis of the heartbeat signal; and an output unit for outputting information indicative of the emotion estimated by the estimation unit. |
