Device for receiving and conveying rock fibres originating from a manufacturing furnace, such as rock wool or glass wool, consisting of a fibre-receiving chamber which is provided with an outlet pipe, through which the fibres are transferred to the next working station via a drawing-off device. The receiving chamber is provided internally with a revolving motor-driven member which has a grating, from which the mouth of a drawing-off pipe starts, which carries off a large part of the air contained in the receiving chamber through a part of the grating. The fibres which are carried along by the air and deposited on the grating are conveyed by the revolving member into the vicinity of the mouth of the outlet pipe, through which they are drawn off.
|
