Automatic damper for a petroleum air-convection boiler, comprised of an electromagnet (3) permanently fixed by its base (2) and (1) to one side of the boiler where corresponding force is released. A (circular) container (6) is fixed to the moving magnet system of the bridge through intervention of a spring (8) between the container and the base (2) electromagnet. When the air-convection boiler is in operation, that is when electrical current is supplied and the air required for burning is provided by the fan, the electromagnet (3) attracts the magnetic system of the bridge (4) and the container fixed to it (6) compressing the spring (8) and hermetically closing the aperture at the side of the boiler. When the electrical current is disconnected, the fan stops running, the electromagnet loses its magnetism and the spring (8) removes the container (6), opening the aperture and allowing a current of air, due to its pull, to enter the boiler and fully maintain its combustion, letting the air chamber heat until the electrical current is reconnected and closes the container again. |
