The bearing for disc storage spindles comprises two spaced axially tensioned inclined ball bearings where the radial outer track (4') of each outer ring (4) has in the longitudinal section a radius whose centre point (7) lies approx. on the turning axis (8) of the inner track (2). - The outer ring of each bearing is pref. designed so that the distance 11 between the one end face (10) and the intersecting point (7) of the pressure lines of the ball bearing on the axis (8) equals the distance 12 between this intersecting point (7) and the other end face (11).
