Date Apr. 7, 1988.A method for heat curing a raw meat medium is disclosed wherein the meat medium is conveyed through a pipe while being subjected to electromagnetic waves having a frequency of less than 300 MHz. A continuous heating of the meat medium is hereby effected so that the heating thereof is finished when it leaves the pipe and immediately thereafter while its temperature is still at least 70 DEG C., can be cut into slices or pieces and packed.
