<p>A surface-treating agent comprising (A) a mixture obtained by blending (1) a polyorganosiloxane represented by the average composition formula [RaSi(OH)bO(4-a-b)/2]n wherein R represents at least two members selected from the group consisting of hydrogen atom and substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon groups, provided that at least two of the R's in each molecule are a monovalent hydrocarbon group substituted with a glycidoxy group and/or an epoxycyclohexyl group, a and b are numbers satisfying the following equations: 1</=a<3, 1</=a+b<3, 0</=b</=0.2, and n is a number of from 10 to 5,000, with (2) a silane and/or siloxane having a substituted or unsubstituted amino group bonded to a silicon atom through at least one carbon atom and having a silicon-bonded alkoxyl group, the relative amounts of ingredients (1) and (2) being such that the number of the substituted or unsubstituted amino groups in ingredient (2) is from 0.1 to 10 per epoxy group in ingredient (1), said epoxy group including both glycidoxy group and epoxycyclohexyl group, and/or a curable material which is the same as said mixture except that the epoxy groups in ingredient (1) have been partly reacted with substituted or unsubstituted amino groups in ingredient (2), and (B) a silane and/or siloxane having a mercapto group bonded to a silicon atom through at least one carbon atom and having a silicon-bonded alkoxyl group. </p> |
