Device for feeding analog data into a microprocessor. These data are represented by the magnitudes of resistors 18, 19. In order to measure the resistor a capacitor 16 is charged across this resistor 18, 19 and the microprocessor 10 determines the time the charging of the capacitor takes to reach a predetermined magnitude when this capacitor is charged or is discharged across the resistor to be measured. The resistor to be measured, for example a thermistor, the magnitude of which represents the temperature of the water inside a washing machine tub.
