Saw has a blade and a housing inside which is a cold water spray system. A spray pipe is provided inside the housing and is supplied with a disinfecting fluid after each cutting operation in order to clean and disinfect the blade and the housing. The spray pipe extends across the width of the housing, and may be fitted with pipe branches. It may also have a right-angled shape in the area in which the saw blade enters the housing. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used in abattoirs for cutting up carcasses. The saw blade and housing are sterilised after each cutting operation, so that the saw is free from germs before each cut. Use of the saw is facilitated, reliable in operation and its output is not reduced.
