REGELUNG DES MULTIPLIKATIONSFAKTORS VON LAWINENPHOTODIODEN IN OPTISCHEN EMPFAENGERN.
摘要
The photodiode multiplication factor regulation is effected by controlling the applied bias voltage. A LF signal (UNFR) of relatively small amplitude is supplied by an LF generator (LFG) and is superimposed on the photodiode bias voltage, the attenuation of the LF signal (UNFR) by the avalanche photodiode (APD) is detected to determine the differential conductance at the working point. This is compared with a reference value to provide a regulation signal for adjustment of the photodiode bias voltage. Pref. the LF current through the photodiode is detected by measuring the corresponding voltage drop, the bias voltage controlled via a DC regulator.
