Plasma cutting burner in which mainly oxygen in a mixture with an inert gas is used as the cutting gas. The oxygen content in the core of the plasma beam is different from the oxygen content in the surface area of the beam. The two gas compositions are fed to the nozzle tangentially at high speed at different distances from the cathode tip. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for cutting metal workpieces. Reduces the nitric oxide emission and improves the work life of the burner as the gases are adiabatically decompressed and acclerated towards the cathode tip and nozzle end to provide good cooling effect.
