Arrangement for sizing of a moving fiber web, said arrangement having size spreading devices 6, 7 to spread a size layer on both sides of fiber web 3 and a press to press the size into the fiber web. In the arrangement the press is formed from a roll 1 and a press shoe which presses against it and a belt 4 impermeable to the liquid that slides along a press cone and forms a closed loop around it, in which web 3 is passed through the press device between belt 4 and roll 1. <IMAGE>
