A cuff for blood pressure monitors is made up of a rectangular band composed of an inflatable chamber from which two tubes lead out for control devices. A flexible non-inflatable cover is provided with means for holding it by adherence or catches when placed in its position of use round the arm. The band includes a corrective scale for readings according to the width of the inflatable chamber of the hand and the perimeter of the arm. The scale is placed longitudinally on the wall of the cover so that when the band is in its position of use, it is on the outside, starting from the external transversal border with the scale running from the external transversal border. The band also includes a reference index which is intended to show on the scale the corrective figure corresponding to each measurement taken.
