An improvement in a drying tray having a frame with a drip tray positioned transversely between peripheral side walls of the frame below a support for supporting articles to be dried. The improvement consisting adding to the frame an air register receiving pocket positioned below the drip tray such that the frame is adapted to overlie without obstructing a floor mounted air register of a force air furnace. An air circulation opening is positioned between the drip tray and one of the peripheral side walls, such that air from the floor mounted air register of the force air furnace can communicate with articles supported by the support.
