PURPOSE:To measure the shape of a three-dimensional curved surface, by taking the image of such a state that slit light moves along the surface of an object to be measured by a TV camera and forming a synthetic image wherein the projection angle of slit light in a moment when slit light passes is set to the value of a pixel at every pixel in a picture. CONSTITUTION:Slit light 3a is projected on the surface of the object 2 to be measured placed on a reference surface 1 and the image of the object 2 to be measured is taken by a TV camera 8 while slit light 3a is moved by a rotary mirror 4. On the basis of the video signal outputted from the camera 8, image synthesizing operation wherein the surface position of the object 2 to be measured corresponding to each pixel in a picture is made as the projection angle theta of the slit image at a moment when the slit light 3a passes through every pixel in the picture, is performed. The shape of the three-dimensional curved surface of the object 2 to be measured can be measured on the basis of the synthetic image. |
