<p>Steam generation arrangement for a food cooking oven or similar equipment comprising an enclosed cooking cavity (8) provided with a fan means (12) and a gas-fuelled or electrically energized heating element (14). Device comprising a frusto-conical ring-shaped rotating element (21) which is shrink-fitted on to the driving shaft (25) of said fan means (12), whereas the water flowing through a water supply conduit (27), whose outlet is located axially within said ring-shaped rotating element (21), is directed against the inner surface (30) thereof. Said water is in this way conveyed along said inner surface (30) and projected radially, as it reaches the circumferential rim (32) of said ring-shaped rotating element (21), towards said heating element (14) where it is brought immediately to vaporization, thereby generating steam instantly and promoting the food cooking action. Considerable amounts of steam are in this way generated very efficiently. <IMAGE></p> |
