A device for catching insects and small animals consists of a suction fan and adapter (5), a filter (4), a collecting chamber (3) and a tube (2) with a nozzle (1) equipped with a fine mesh shutter cap (6). If used gently individual animals can be caught, or they can be caught all together and held in the collecting chamber (3) pending release. Alternatively they can be caught and killed. USE/ADVANTAGE - The insects are drawn into the tube by suction from the fan but cannot pass into the fan because the filter prevents them.
