<p>Improved machine comprising multiple rollers (10,14) driven by chains (12,16) starting from a shaft (40) emerging from an engine driven cultivator (42) with which the machine is associated. The shaft (40) of the engine driven cultivator (42) engages with an angular transmission (44) at an output of 90 DEG for another shaft (46) with related pinion (48). At least one idling roller (50) adjustable as regards braking is provided. Said roller (50) is rotated when the bale of forage has reached the desired compactness. In the heads of each roller (10,14) is housed a cap (64) for a ball bearing (66) closed from the outside by a flange (68) which simultaneously tightens on the casing (70) of the machine and on the outer rim of the bearing (66). <IMAGE></p> |
