<p>A play media counting apparatus which comprises: a counting section (40) for counting play media fed in; an output device (100) for outputting information produced in the apparatus; a trouble detecting device (44) for detecting a trouble occurring at least in either one of said counting section (40) and said output device (100); a trouble information storing means (62) for previously storing trouble information showing the details of the trouble and countermeasure information showing the countermeasure against the trouble shown by said trouble information; an information output control means (64) for outputting trouble information and the associated countermeasure information which are previously stored in said trouble information storing means (62) in response to trouble detection by said trouble detecting sections (44), (53), through said output device (100); and a count record/control means (63) for outputting the number of play media counted by said counting section (40), through said output device (100).</p> |
