PURPOSE:To provide a camera which can execute precise focusing and precise exposure control extending over the effective exposure area of a film. CONSTITUTION:The effective exposure area of the film is divided into seven and an exposure slit 5 whose width is equivalent to divided one is formed on a shutter curtain 4. On the other hand, infrared rays are projected from an infrared rays projection part 21 toward every range-finding area of an object side corresponding to the respective film areas obtained by dividing the exposure area and the reflected light thereof is received by an infrared rays receiving part 24. Then, a range-finding action is executed. After the range-finding action at the whole range-finding areas is finished, the slit 5 formed on the curtain 4 is stepwise and successively moved to the seventh range-finding area from the first range-finding area by a shutter curtain driving motor 4. Every moving step, the driving of focusing is executed by a lens barrel driving motor 14 based on a range-finding result which is previously calculated. |
