PURPOSE:To enable the execution of approaching guide to a proper lane by displaying the subsequent branch point information of the ongoing direction at a branch point of own car through a control means based on an output of a decision means. CONSTITUTION:When an onboard antenna 2 receives a radio wave from a road side transmission station 1 provided near a branch point K1, a CPU10 displays information of the branch point K1 visually with a display device 7. When a decision means decides the ongoing direction of own car at the branch point K1, a subsequent branch point information display control means displays information at the subsequent branch points K2, K3 and K4 of the ongoing direction at the branch point of the own car visually based on an output of the decision means through the CPU10. As a result, at an early time immediately after the own car approaches the branch point K1, information at the subsequent branch points K2, K3 and K4 is displayed visually corresponding to the ongoing direction of the own car thereby enabling the execution of an approaching guide to a proper lane. |
