PURPOSE:To ensure excellent properties of a visible image after development, to prevent the contamination of a printing plate, the hand and fingers, an automatic developing processor, etc., and to facilitate the maintenance, control and handling the automatic developing processor when a photosensitive planographic printing plate requiring no dampening water is processed. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive planographic printing plate requiring no dampening water contg. a coupler or developer is developed, then a cover sheet contg. the developer or coupler not contained in the printing plate is laminated on the printing plate and the image area is allowed to develop a color by heating and/or pressing. |
