PURPOSE:To ensure precision in knocking detection even in the case having a mechanical noise by providing a vibration detecting means for detecting the vibration of an internal combustion engine and a judging means for judging the presence of knocking. CONSTITUTION:A position(POS) counter 21 measures crank angle, a CPU 20 sets the starting angle of an A/D converter 23 in a compare resistor 22. The converter 23 A/D-converts the signal of a knock sensor by a determined number of times. When the POS counter is coincident with a compare resistor corresponding to the starting angle of A/D conversion by increment, coincidence interruption is generated in the CPU, A/D conversion is also started, and the resulting data is stored in a RAM. There, continuous A/D conversion is conducted for the signals contained in the generating period of knocking. The removal of signals of a mechanical noise generating part is conducted by data processing in the CPU. The A/D conversion is ended after it is conducted by a determined number of times. |
